Quick shout to announce an event here in Montreal. In response to the announced introduction of legislation to change Canadian copyright, commonly called the "Canadian DMCA" since the drafts presented so far have closely resembled that American law, the Montreal Chapter of Fair Copyright for Canada is holding an emergency organizational meeting Thursday, June 12th from 6-8PM. The event will be at Station C, 5369 Saint-Laurent #430, in the Mile End neighborhood of Montreal.
